Not once has she ever dared to come here.
As much as she wallowed in her misery over losing Brooke, she could never bear to face her. The hologram is not real. It's not her — she didn't want to be fooled by the illusion that it was. Isobel will never forget her first love, but she cannot spend her life clinging to the idea that part of Brooke still lives on in a hologram.
Since her conversation with Beck Hailsham, she has been thinking about remembrance more often, mulling over the prospect of speaking with her hologram. And today, she finally took the leap.
Her heart feels heavy in her chest as she approaches the holoprojector in the Justice Building. She hesitates before turning it on, but then presses the button, and in an instant, the holographic image of Brooke Destin materializes before her.
