There’s something empowering about having your life story being read and heard by someone. There’s something comforting about how there’s someone so far away that you can confide in. Where you can share with them about your crushes and families. Someone you can tell about the joyful, disappointing, and the uncomfortable parts of your life.
After pulling the leg of several District officials, planning with several other teachers of the country, and many many conversations with the government of what students can and can’t write, there’s a teacher beaming with excitement. A program in the works for a year now, he’s ecstatic to announce the introduction of the Cross-District Pen Pal program! In this program, students from the ages 12–15 are able to sign up and be paired with a partner in one of their requested districts! The student and said partner will become lifelong pals (if desired), and they’ll be able to send letters back and forth as long as the other is alive and willing to respond.

If you’re interested in signing up for the program, fill this out! The only requirement is ideally being 12-15. Every district (and the capitol) is available to sign up for a pen pal! Simply state which district(s) your character would be interested in writing with, along with if they’re interested in having multiple! I’ll try and keep district interests mutual (if someone from 4 requests 11, and 11 requests 4, I’ll partner them rather than someone from another district).
