Cornucopia Tavern with Trap Door - 2 Viewing Where the cornucopia stands, there’s a large wooden and stone building. Ivy grows from every side, expanding along the stone and wood itself. A wooden sign hangs on the front of the door reading: “Pots and Petals Tavern”. Inside the building, you will find a pristine wooden floor and walls littered with trophies of creatures fallen, paintings of magical lands, and shelves which have various display items and pots filled with magical flowers that seem to bloom and wilt over and over. Wooden tables are sporadically resting along the expanse of floor, each with multiple chairs and leftover tankards of ale that seem to be in varying amounts of empty and full. On the far side is the actual bar itself, where large barrels of ale and various other drinks reside. Behind the bar is a slime shaped person, who seems to be actively keeping their eye on you. Along the floorboards, behind the bar, there’s an openable hatch where the sound of snoring just barely makes it through the tavern’s noise. In the center of the room, there’s a large round stage which rises just a step off the wooden floor with various instruments ready to be played. The place is littered with scuff marks and various slashes in the wooden floors and walls themselves. After all, who doesn’t love a good tavern brawl. (Tom) |

Dragon Tooth Mountains Visible from anywhere above ground in the arena, the Dragon Tooth Mountains loom. So named for their spiky appearance and smoky haze, the range doesn’t exactly scream ‘welcome’. But for tributes brave enough to venture afar they’ll find a corner of the arena unlike any other. Smoke billows lazily from the rocky earth but the craggy stones have no heat of their own. The ascent is treacherous and tributes must choose either to tackle it head on or follow a series of dizzying switchbacks. The higher they ascend, the thinner the air, which may account for the strange rhythmic noise that slowly fills the background. It almost sounds like the mountain is snoring. Cave Entrance Adventurers Heed Warning" reads the sign outside the harrowing Cave Entrance, but the pale blue glow emanating from it welcomes you regardless. The brave will find trinkets and treasures from their time within, loot from the depths sure to aid in your journey, but beware: some tributes enter and never return. Your footing is hard to maintain between the stalagmites and all the walls are covered in a thick... slime? The further in you go, the louder the snoring becomes. (@fabulousraven) |

Forgotten Meadow Hidden in plain sight, the Forgotten Meadow is designed to lure you in with its serene aroma. It's easiest to follow along the shore lines, but isn't it so enticing to stop and smell the flowers? The warm breeze will guide you further, as the scent of wildflowers guides you over discarded knick knacks and antique relics. Before you know it, you're deeper into the meadow and navigating your way through rusted war machines and ditched mech suits. You'll never know what you'll find closer and closer to the center, so make sure you watch your step walking down memory lane. (@fabulousraven) |

Winding River Dividing the arena lazily in half, the winding river embodies both the chaotic elements of the western side and the tranquil beauty of the eastern landscapes. At times the current rushes by, forming white caps and licking at the shores with dangerous waves. Around another bend and the boulders slow the water to a gentle lapping. At points it is so calm a tribute might be tempted to swim in it. The water is crystal clear allowing for a view of pebbles and small fish. Several wooden bridges traverse the river, seeming to guarantee safe passage. But who built the bridges, you might wonder? For what matter, who built the river itself? But if you start thinking like that, you won’t trust anything at all, and the water does look so delightfully refreshing… (Baby Wessex d9b [earthling]) |

Fantastical Forest Stepping into the Fantastical Forest, a sense of awe washes over you. The forest itself is a vibrant display of colors and oddities. Trees with large green canopies block out the sky as the forest floor itself lights up from strange mushrooms that glow in the dark. Strange lights float through the air, glittering and twinkling all around you. Tiny homes carved into trees and mushrooms with lights flickering from behind their doors. The sound of creatures echoes through the canopies, loud and lively. A winding path, beaten from use, winds through the middle of it, leading into thicker and thicker woods. It’s almost as if the forest itself is asking you to follow the path. The whole place feels magical to you, but beware, all magic comes at a price. (Tom) |
