Champignon Élysées Hotel

An opulent hotel in the Decadence hotel empire, the Champignon Élysées currently houses the displaced residents of the Training Center while the 95th Hunger Games is ongoing.

Decadence is accurate: the foyer features perfectly-bookmatched floor-to-ceiling rose marble and a grand staircase with wrought iron and gilt bronze railing, which perfectly frames the two-story, ten-ton swarovski crystal chandelier. The grand salon is decked with purple silk ciselé velvet upholstery, carved wood and gold gilt panels, and ceilings painted with scenes from classic mythology and past Hunger Games. On closer examination, some of these frescoes feature gamemaker and hotelier Bourgeois Decadence rather than their original subjects.

The heavily-secured penthouse serves as the Gamemakers' Headquarters, while suites on the lower floors have generously been offered to the victors, their staff, and their families.

The rooftop deck, with its stunning views of the Capitol skyline, 200-foot infinity pool, and swim-up nightclub is home to the 24/7 Hunger Games viewing party — Very Very Important guests only! Telescopes have been pointed at the Training Center for partygoers hoping to catch a glimpse of the Games for themselves, but it's easier to see the action from the dozens of holo-screens placed everywhere, making the excitement inescapable!
