District Five

Following the death of one of their victors, Five’s only expanded further in their scope of energy supply. Hydro Dams, Solar Fields, and Wind Turbines have sprouted out of Five as far as the eye can see. Pollution still lingers heavily in the district, but the adjustment to different acclimations of power has made Five an important district for the entirety of Panem itself. The oil district still continues to be booming with business as the expansion of their industry brings chemical refineries into the district; taking over the mantle from Nine. With much more opportunity and the reliance of Five as the power center of Panem, the economy has expanded past the scope of their original design. The exotic animals industry of the past remains as a distant memory to most in Five nowadays.
