District One

District One, the Capitols most darling district, is regarded as the most reliable of the career districts. Many of the citizens of District One don't have to worry about financial burdens, many families rich enough that they don't need to work. Many fill this time by becoming Careers or train their children to become the most dangerous tributes in the Hunger Games. Recently they has been an increase of funding for the academies, allowing the construction of new facilities or updated facilities. However, the most significant change is the chance to become a star away from the battlefield. Panem's birth place for the next generation of entertainers, District One might even rival Saturn City in the future.
