Cornucopia

The iconic golden horn rises up from a dry, arid landscape, with little more around it than dry earth and sparse plant life that fades out into the horizon. The real visual draw of this landscape is around the Cornucopia itself, a compass of sorts etched into the ground. To the North, a picture of a flame. To the South, a delicately-drawn water drop. To the East, an intricate swirl. To the West, a broad leaf. This starting point of the Games gives tributes little information about the Arena into which they've been thrust, and the ambiguity begs the question of just what the Gamemakers have in store for their unfortunate charges.
