The depths of District Thirteen are home to intense scientific researchers and their bases; these buildings are dark and intimidating, they have a dangerous sense of allure that entices even the most innocent of Thirteen’s citizens into their walls… but access to this quarter is tightly restricted to authorised personnel only. Contained within this place is a staggering pile of nuclear weaponry, guarded by armed forces. Here, military technology extends far beyond that of physical arms, with intricate drawings of future missile models and strategic deployment plans plastered across tables and walls as far as the eye can see. There are branches of rooms extending off the main workspace which house military officials and their offices, as well as secretive researchers conducting meetings about the future developments of their munitions. Weapons, technology and science have their meeting point in this sector — so it’s best to keep anything you may see or hear to yourself.
