life’s all about the simple pleasures, and i'm contemplating the sweet nature of a banana split when the logs load on my computer. my spoon slips outta my hand, hits the edge of the table -- oops lol -- and clinks onto the floor. a retro robowaiter hands me another one, its lights blinking yellow.

between the melting chocolate syrup, there's a strange line of contrived traffic swimming in the logs, and my little worm's taken an IP i didn't even know existed.

sometimes things seem too good to be true -- like that one time this guy was selling tickets at sticker price to a sold out Ariadne Ratmas concert asking for half the payment now and wait -- haha that was me! pulled that hat trick three times in one night and simps get scammed i guess. anyways, in a bite of vanilla and candied cherry -- it looks like someone's set a sweet trap, a honeypot to catch the silly bugs.

aww, just for me. on one hand, someone thinks i'm like fucking stupid, on the other hand someone wants to know who i am! hey, my first grade teacher wrote to my parents that i've got an ego the size of a mountain but even that flattered me.

i open a new tab and start playing Neomutts.

on the jukebox by my booth, i close my eyes and pick a song, feeding it quarters from my coat pocket. the cafe gets crowded, i plug in a vm from a usb, and wonder how i'll respond to the fanmail. there's a backdoor telnet on cry0crypt so i connect -- someone sold me this lil piece of code for wayyy too many coins but she sure was shiny. now let's see if it'll pay itself.

electro swing plays and in the bouncing beat, i navigate through the drive of my secret admirer, find the decryption folder my malware made on their computer.

i pen a doodle of a code,

time's a bitch. the ice-cream's become pastel soup; i swirl it with my spoon, watching it drip from eye level like the icebergs in our history books. oh rats, guess i'll have to get another. ):

so i'm waiting for my order, thinking about maybe doing homework for once, but my mouse finds itself clicking back on the tab of Neomutts. crazy, how did that happen.
