It's hard to move, yet they keep pressing forward despite their legs begging for a break. A parched tongue sticks to the roof of their mouth, and all Maddox wants is to find a place to lay down and manage the wounds from the mutt. Yet they know stopping for too long is even more dangerous too, but they need help. A chance to heal, and take a breath. A chance to figure out where to go from here, and this will offer it to them. Maddox stops and sits down for a moment looking through their bag.
Many items are here that they can use to heal, and that is what they need to do. It is hard to use a needle and thread without a helping hand, but they manage to the best of their ability. Of course it's not as good as it could be.
Packing up their bag, they start moving on along the outside of the craters, and there isn't anything here. Nothing can compare to them, but when the cannons start to echo throughout the arena, Maddox knows it is time to move. It is time to find a nice quiet place to rest for a few hours before heading into another day if they somehow survive the night. Another sunrise is all they need, and that is what keeps them going.
