District Eleven is boring. There's not a lot to do 'round here except going to church and farming. So my favourite time of year is when the Hunger Games are on. Not because of the games themselves, especially recently. But I like watching all of the stuff before and after they happen. The interviews and the opening ceremony and this year they even had a ball! All of the celebrities for the Hunger Games are so cool! Sometimes I like to imagine I live a fun and exciting life like they do. My big brother got me some paper and stamps so I can start writing them letters too.

Right now my favourite celebrities are Avriel Baptiste, Flynn Garner, Lorenzo Emberstatt, and Danny Pieterse. I dunno much about Danny, except he's going to make my cousin a victor! Avriel seemed really nice in his games, but maybe a bit shy. I feel like he just needs more friends. But that's okay, I have trouble making friends too. And Flynn? Well Flynn is really cute! And we both have freckles! I wonder if he met Six or Abel, I bet they're friends! And then Lorenzo seems cool because he's also from a lower district but look at him now! He didn't even win a games or anything but he never has to sit around doing farm work cause he's famous now.
