IC SECRET SANTA

Welcome to IC Secret Santa for Ratmas 2021! This will be a Ratmas-long event utilising the newly-opened Panem Post Office. You're welcome to continue writing and sending gifts to your new pen pals as long as all communications are Peacekeeper-screened and approved and your packages contain no prohibited items!

Sign up below with up to three (3) characters - any district, any age - to have your character randomly matched with another character as their Secret Santa, and a second character to send a gift to! You will need to write blitz-length RP letters in the Post Office, with a little ooc note detailing what your character has gifted.

Please try and keep the presents as realistic as possible, and note that weapons/medicines/suspicious items WILL be confiscated by Peacekeepers! One present should be district-themed if possible. Food might not survive the trip over, so non-perishables are preferred (or recipes!) in that department.

We encourage Secret Santas to hide their identities and districts in their initial messages for their giftee to guess IC. Characters are welcome to reveal themselves and their locations in response messages.

Each user who participates in both gift AND gifting IC Secret Santa communications threads between 1st and 9th January will earn 5 points. Users can earn up to 15 points for up to 3 characters in this event. Please link your post office threads, once written, in a follow-up post in this thread.

A large red bow, tied hastily around the side of it glitters brightly. Inside the Willow basket is an assortment of multi-colored from flowers from Roses to Lavender to Poppies to Daisies and many other flowers of all sorts of bright colors. A single note let between all of them reads: "From my hands to yours; I wanted to give a little of the life I've created to someone else this year."

It consists of an arduino-type board on a bot that moves on two wheels, fitted with batteries, equipped with LED lights. When turned on, it rolls in circles and flashes, playing the Panem Anthem in chiptune on a horrible speaker. Very Patriotic.

If the song is analyzed backwards on a sonic visualizer, the soundwaves show the word “G3”
