I wasn't a very good dad when he was around. I would let my temper get the better of me. I priortised public opinion over my children. I still have rules now. My family will still listen as I say. Four running away only pissed me off. It never made me realise that I might be too harsh on my children. What made me realise it was Six dying. My kids didn't come to me to grieve. They came to each other or dealt with it on their own. Processing his death was like a hurricane for my wife and I. No parent should have to burry their child.

And then Prop's name got called out. And my nephew, my darling nephew, volunteered. I don't know why. I never got the chance to ask. And he died too. Cliff had to watch him die like I had to watch Six. And you know what I thought when I heard that? You know what I still think to this day? At least it wasn't Prop. Maybe I'm a bad Uncle or even a bad person. But until you get your son home in a coffin with a hole in his fucking neck, you can't judge me.
