Their entire day to day consists of the creation of stories. Merrick has never learned to live another way. They live in District Seven, land of the forests that, someday, they'll be forced to chop down tree after tree in. But for now, they play with a myriad of woodland creatures who love to explore and push the boundaries of what is possible for reality.

They project things that they could never or are too scared to do. Merrick's family protected them from any sort of danger as a child. They have a soft voice, delicate hands, gentle demeanor. Innocence prevails in their personality to most who know them well, the bubble locking them in place. Some call it a bit suffocating, but Merrick prefers it as the only good way to breathe in real life. Their parents designed them, along with their brothers and sisters, to be exactly this way, in an attempt to keep them from working directly with lumber at all. Perhaps if they can't be utilized in this manner, they might be ushered towards a desk job, where the work is planning or mathematics at its worst.

Merrick finds this a suitable fate. After all, they're only a young kid yet. Their mind still has time to grow. They spend most of that time and that mind making space for their stories and characters, though. Perhaps that's against their better judgment, especially as their transition to adulthood looms, but they're happy for now. Being a child for a little while longer is okay.
