MECH SUIT MECHANIC
For the 90th arena, tributes will each have access to a mech suit shortly after the bloodbath.
Each suit is human-sized, and tributes can reference the list below for examples they may choose from:
Mech Suit Model Ideas:

Frog Mech (LINK)
Rhino Mech (LINK)
Spider Mech (LINK)
Bear Mech (LINK)
Mantis Mech (LINK)
Aesthetically speaking, the mech suits have weathered with time and are now very sub-optimal versions of the examples above. Various pieces are falling off, some buttons and dials may not work anymore, and most of the outer hull should be rusted all the way through.- Mech suits are located in the scrapyard, and it is up to tributes to post there in order to retrieve them.
- Mech suits will take an inventory spot in the form of a mech manual obtained from the Bloodbath. If tributes drop the manual, they drop the mech suit.
- A mech upgrade is an item that may be used all the way to the end of the Games. Can only be used with a mech suit.
- A spare part is an item that can only be used until the Top Twelve, at which point it ceases to function. Can only be used with a mech suit.
- Each mech upgrade and spare part will occupy its own inventory slot.
- Tributes require a toolbox in order to install upgrades or spare parts of any kind, which will share a space with the manual in the tribute’s inventory once it has been picked up. No upgrades can be performed until the tribute has obtained a toolbox.
- Mech suits and any enhancements or additions are non-transferable between tributes. This includes alliance members and any tribute who has been killed.
- The mech suits do not function as armor, and attacks made against tributes wearing mech suits will be received normally.
- The mech suits also do not protect from instas.
- Non-mech weapons cannot be used while in a mech suit.
- When the tributes initially obtain their mech, it will be equipped with the Dagger Mech Upgrade. Tributes attack using a knife roll unless they obtain other upgrades.
- Tributes are welcome to fight outside of their mech, though it should be noted that they can only use non-mech weapons to attack until they get back into their mech suit.
- Tributes can speak directly when next to each other, even from within their mech, as the suit is likely more broken than not and not currently capable of obstructing sound.
- There is a Proximity Chat the tributes can tune in and speak to. All tributes within a hundred foot radius will be able to hear your tribute through speakers in their own suits.
