He'd already found quite a few useful items as he searched through what appeared to be ruins of sorts. Buildings stacked upon buildings as if buildings truly were something meant to welded together. Sand was getting into his boots, grains grinding and itching between his toes.
Uncomfortable.
He'd never been to a beach before, but he was coming to a rather rushed conclusion that this loose granular substance had to be the reason everyone from District 4 always seemed so miserable. He'd ask Talon when he returned, maybe even conduct a small experiment—one that Madison wouldn't mind missing out on—wherein perhaps he throws sand down Talon's shirt and takes notes.
The effort of putting down the weapon he'd found makes him groan. He was becoming quite fatigued. Expeditions aren't always meant to be expedited, and he knew he needed his rest if he was going to make it back to where his allies were. There was only one small piece he wanted to find, a piece he was certain he'd find here of all the places he could see. It should be obvious, glinting in the sun, high in the air- he shields his eyes to scan the horizon as he shakes the sand from his boots.
And as if he hadn't been looking around for hours now-
"An antenna!"
-it appears like a wish come true.
