He made it out alive and well. Isaac realized later on in the night that the mutts hadnt done too much damage to them. A little surprising as he had watched mutts literally kill his cousins. He is still a little sad about emmett, but if he was meant to make it out alive, then he would have right?
Maybe he just wasnt ready for what the hunger games had in store for him.
He is slightly confused and all but worried that anything could happen in this moment. He has not let go of his own pocket knife since he had gotten it, because that was probably the only weapon he would actually be able to hold here. He pulled it out every now and then in order to flick it around and flare it out. He was never afraid of cutting himself because he trusted his own reflexes.
The trees had provided enough cover, but the moonlight was quite beautiful he did have to admit. He wasnt sure where Izzy or Kareem had run off too, but he was sure they were doing what they could in order to support the group. Isaac was trying to locate some food and water himself, knowing well that the air was not helping any of them when it came to dehydration. The quicker they found the source, the easier it all became.
After all, survival of the fittest.
He heard a crack of twigs behind him, and the knife had already been at the ready. He held the hilt up until he realized that it had been Bowie. He quickly dropped his defenses and simply rested his muscles. Bowie was a threat, but not in this moment. "How are you holding up? Did you take that antidote?" Isaac had been a know it all, naturally of course, which meant he wanted to make sure that all the information that he had could be passed on to the others around him. At the end of the day, their numbers would be stronger with the more they all knew.
"Miss home?" Isaac had a feeling this could have also been a moment of just general conversation. Anything to pass the time was probably better than anything else after all. The night was still going, and they had enough time to at least keep to themselves.
Isaac did not know where he had stood with one Bowie Gamble, but maybe he would finally find out.
