His conversation with Bowie had been interesting, but he had at least started to understand who he was as a person. Isaac was never one to invalidate someone unless they were completely delusional. It was quite clear that Bowie was confident in himself, which meant that Isaac had no business trying to disprove that.
He collected various useful things an began to plan his course of action for the next day. He had a feeling that they would probably face something tougher the next day. Of course, there were still many tributes around, and while three of them had already been killed, that did not mean that no one couldnt die today either. Isaac hadnt heard a cannon yet, but it could happen at any time.
Isaac had climbed up his mech, which he had left against a tree, and began to grab onto the bark as he realized that the moon had been fully out. It had been a while since he had moon gazed, and to be quite honest, a chance to do so felt like it was right. It was his time to decompress. His head was a typhoon of worry and doubt, but he was still alive. Still kicking just enough.
Once he had got a good grip on one of the trees, he hoisted himself up on one of the branches and looked over the area. Izzy and Bowie had been in eyeline of Isaac, which was enough to know that they were safe for now. He wasnt quite sure where Kareem was still, but did that really matter? After all, the man had worked in tandem with Izzy to take out what was left of the snakes. He was impressed to put it simply.
Isaac Le Roux was not the type to do so easily either, but that didnt mean that no one was capable of doing the impossible. Quite honestly, Kareem was similar to Isaac in many ways. Both killers, both level headed and wrought with desire to prove someone wrong. Did Kareem have a death wish? Isaac didnt know that, but Isaac sure did. He shook his head as he watched where the moon and the water met and thought about anything else but here.
He wasnt homesick.
He was full of content.
Just so many questions to be answered and so little time.
