His head is spinning as his mind tries to figure out what just happened. Various colors of paint have dried against his skin, and wiping it away seems damn near impossible. Wide eyes focus on the abandon building wondering how they'll ever clean it up. Of course, it's not up to him. This is simply a prop for a game, but maybe this is more than a prop. It's a home to mutts who are stuck in this terrible place just like they are.
Maybe we're the same.
A heavy sigh leaves his chest as he turns towards another building wondering what's inside, but he doesn't open the door. No, it's something terrifying, something he isn't willing to go forward with. Surely not every building has acrobatic spiders the size of dogs living inside. Curiosity killed the cat, and Canvas doesn't want to die. Not this way anyway.
"What the hell was that?" Dumbfounded. That's all there is to it, and Canvas can't help but lean against the wall to another building. "That's something straight out of a nightmare."
Of course this entire situation is a nightmare, but here he is living through it. Having some fun isn't the worst possible thing, yet these spiders have made a fool of him for all Panem to see.
Now that it's over he can laugh about it. It's nothing to worry about despite the exhaustion that's trying to bring him down.
"I don't know how much sun we'll have left, so maybe we find a building to try to camp out in for the night." It's not ideal, but it's better than nothing. At least this way Canvas can have a roof over his head and maybe a place to sleep. Mending his wounds is important, but for now he knows they must keep moving.
