Finger on the trigger, you make your mark.
You can remember the lessons that everyone tried to teach you as a girl, the women in your life trying to convince you that you are more powerful the weaker you seem. In pretending to be weak, you are always unexpected. Whatever pedestal they think you stand and wait at the foot of would crumble at your will. Your mother would balk to learn that you never took any of her lessons to heart.
It's always better to be a threat.
Across the cavern, you splatter blue paint. The corpses of their alphas seem deterrent enough for the smaller mutations for the time being, and you take full advantage when Wes eventually passes out from the blood loss.
An entrance, you realize.
You grin.
Head cocked to the side, you consider yourself for a moment, debate for too long with yourself regarding something you should care less about. You start with the insect wearing a crown, lopsided and crooked atop his head. Recluse, it's supposed to represent, the name for his spider mech that Wes gave to you with such glowing pride. There's meant to be eight legs, but there's something about Wes that makes you want to give him a doodle just a little bit incorrect, so you leave it at six again. You need the right information to know that it's not really what it looks like it's supposed to be.
You doodle the little insects all over the place after that. It feels good to be out of your mech, even if it's risky. You revel in the feeling of being able to properly stretch your legs, clamor up the sides of the cavern to ledges and use your sparkly, neon blue paint to add another creature to your host of spiders and crowns: boo ghosts. No mouths, x's for eyes, wearing little crowns. Everywhere you can reach, you litter the walls with images until every where you see there are glowing threats. And in the center of the floor:
You have to scramble on top of Panserbjørn, stand and stretch your whole arm length up to reach the ceiling. You spray another ghoul, crossed out eyes. This one has a smile, tongue sticking out the side.
