hold your breath // junkrats. day four

Blood.

Pain.

Metal clashing.

Canon in the distance.

A body falling from a mech and onto the ground.

Maze rushes off, taking charge of the landship, leaving a cloud of dust in their wake.

Can't breathe.

No air.

The suit becomes tighter around her body, sucking up the last bit of air that's inside of it. Lottie frantically smashes buttons on the inside, desperate for the one that will release her. Finally her fingers find it, and with a large creak it opens, and she tumbles out onto the ship. Her breaths are loud and shallow, each on causing more pain than the next, but she does her best to hold back the tears that threaten to stream down her face.

She refuses to show them how broken she really was.

Her body was beaten and bruised, and even the littlest of movements caused the sharpest bout of pain. Gently, she began to wrap her wounds as she looked at the others. Talon and Maze seemed relatively unharmed, but Kiibo looked just as beat up as she did.

They would pay for this.

"So Kiibo, any chance you'd be willing to give me a lesson on how to work this thing properly?"

Kiibo has been good so far, and Lottie has been near useless. If she wanted any chance of survival she was going to need to step up her game.

If she wanted any chance at protecting the others.

Charlotte would need to figure out how to hold herself together.
