90th Election - Mayors and D13 President Information

Attention all citizens of Panem! In honor of our glorious Quell, and to stabilize the District’s governments, an election for Mayor shall be held. Candidates should be model citizens of their respective Districts, dedicated public servants who wish to help shape the future of Panem. We thank those that have served so loyally over the years.

While we continue to celebrate the downfall of the corrupt President of Panem, it is once again time to hold our own Presidential Election. In the Ninety years since we declared our freedom, we have held many elections. Never before have the stakes been higher. While we have considered the ramifications of political unrest, we deem it necessary to continue with our own election, while keeping a close watch on the twelve districts.

Every Quell there will be a Mayoral and District Thirteen Presidential election. For the purposes of this form, the terms “Mayors” will also refer to the D13 President. You may run for the election in multiple districts, although we are unlikely to award multiple Mayors (or Councilors, see other post) to one person.

You are welcome to run with a pre-existing character or an original, unbioed character. If you win, you must complete an extended bio (same length as a Peacekeeper) and tag aya or myself to review.

This event will run through the end of April, with new events every weekend. The first event will kick off on TODAY! The events’ points and participation will be tallied as follows, to determine the new Mayors and D13 President:

40% = Election Participation aka how many events completed
40% = Public Votes.
20% = Judge Votes.
+0.5 if the Mayor/President is running for re-election, for 1 post per previous Games, 85th-90th. Please link in your sign-up post.


Points Tracker

You may cast one vote in every district in which you have posted once. You may post during the course of the event to count for voting.

Minimum age: 25
Proof of permanent residency in your district.
In good standing, e.g. not have recently stayed in the Detention Center.
