90th Quell Council Elections

Election Donors

Every candidate running for the High Council must secure monetary backing to run their campaign.

- You need at least 5 bioed Capitolites to endorse your candidate.
- Please make a post in your Candidate Tracker with a list of endorsements with the character's name, age and username.
- When you have 5 financial backers, tag me.
- The same character may donate to as many candidates as they wish.
- OOC, each writer may only donate to each individual candidate twice. So, you need at least 3 unique writers to provide character endorsements.
- These donations are in the public record IC. Capitolite campaign finance laws prohibits the use of PACs to obscure the origins of campaign funds.
- Donors must be 16+.
- I will be doing an audit of the donors and asking 1 out of 5 why they chose this particular candidate. The donor will have to write a brief (like 1-2 sentence) reason for their endorsement. I will try to select each writer only once.
- Endorsements are due Tuesday August 31st. This is an all or nothing event - if you have fewer than 5 donors, you will not get the points for this event.
- Writers do not actually need to donate money (site or irl currency) to the candidates they are backing.
- Endorsements are due Monday April 11th
