The satchel was now slung over her shoulder, and blood was already being shed. The pace needed to quicken, Quinn realized, as she aimlessly grabbed for another item. It might not have even ended up being important later. Maybe it'd even be detrimental. Although, perhaps it would save her in a pinch. It didn't really matter to her right that second though. The pair of pliers in front of her? Whether or not she really needed them, she was fighting for them.

"Move! I— I'll hit you!" she warned another tribute. They didn't get out of the way, though, so Quinn's body moved toward them in one swift motion as she also picked up the pliers. She was fighting, and not stopping yet.

Kaius can feel hands, arms, and legs thrown up against him. He is forced off balance, making contact with the wooden planks below. His bottom row of teeth pokes into his lip and Kaius groans before revving his legs and forcing himself back up again. The tavern is so congested, it's probably easy to take a lot of swings here if one isn't being careful.

"Asshole, do you know who the fuck you're messing with?"

Whoever said that, Kaius didn't appreciate the comment. He makes his way toward her now, and it clicks that this was the person he used as a cushion to fall back from moments ago. And she's talking to Quinn.

"Arrogance won't get you much."

This time, his swing is intentional and an act of defense. He'll make it out of the tavern alive, whether the rest of the people in the arena like it or not.

He's been a good boy. Kaius deserves to survive for what he's done in his life. Or at least not be the first to go.

Pretty sword looked pretty, he was a boy of simple tastes. A boy who was also, coincidentally, fast as fuck, boyyyyy so he was like "yeah, I'm about to go dig this bitch up." and that's what he did. Like butter, he pulled the blade free of its place being pinned between two floorboards- how uncouth. It's not ideal- one of those finesse-type swords that rely more on... finesse... anyway. Finally, amidst the chaos, she was able to find her allies. Cor came out of the blue, fists swinging, and Kassia is able to see her outfit. It was a set of dark robes, reminiscent of a witch.

Was there meaning to it or was it randomly assigned? From what little she knew about the gamemakers, Kassia knew that everything in this arena had to have some sort of double meaning. Nothing was meant to be easy for the tributes, and so there had to be something in the future.

Nearby, a whirlwind of tributes continued to fight. She saw some beginning to bolt out of the tavern to whatever lies in the unknown. Oh, how she wanted to follow them, but she couldn't. She needed to be brave and stand strong next to her allies. They were all there, and she needed to prove that she wasn't to be protected.

She feels her wrist snap as Alice comes at her. "Fuck, Alice!" She screams as pain courses through her, "Remember what we said about hurting each other from a distance?"

Finally, she found a set of axes she could throw. She knew her aim was terrible, but it was better than nothing. She could get into another futile shooting match with the career from one. However, someone yet again was coming too close, aiming for the same set of weapons as her. For a second she considered just letting them have the weapons, finding something else.

But no, she needed these. She needed something. So, swirling her fists, she becomes a tornado of uncoordinated fury.
