[SF Demo] Explosives

Alan A.Allen, is an eccentric explosive expert from District Five. With a history of putting out fires at the oil refineries, he soon took a keen interest in how all of these fires started in the first place! His expertise has evolved over the years, now an advisor to the Capitol and a special guest at Panem's Annual Science Fair!

Alan is holding his explosives demonstration is an unused warehouse, far from any useful civilization and just a twenty minute walk from the Science Fair convention hall. All attendees are welcome between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 to view his demonstrations as well as get involved. Alan has laid out several stations inside and outside of the warehouse for attendees to have a go. From the comfort of a Bunsen burner, to firing rockets into the sky to mixing chemicals to create colorful flares. All stations are CONTROLLED and have been thoroughly reviewed by health and safety inspectors.

The Rules
- All writers have free reins of this event, do you accidentally actually send mini rocket into space? Do you accidentally blow a part of the roof off of the warehouse? It is up to you.
- How you create the explosion is up to you, the warehouse is filled with hundreds of ingredients.
- Any injuries incurred are at the discretion of the writer.
- You are free to include any Alan dialogue in your posts. He is a free to use NPC and is very eccentric, loud and likes to use long words.
- By posting in this event, you will be awarded 1 science fair point.
- Posts in this thread must be a minimum of 100 words long.
- You have until 23:59 PST 19th September to participate.


Dice
Dice are optional but if you would like to figure out the intensity of the explosion you have created.

1-10 - Failed explosion (nothing happens).
11 - 30 - Small controlled explosion
31 - 45 - Medium sized explosion with some limited damage
46 - 50 - Large explosion with major damage - Alan questions his future career.
