The air is cool and it smells like blood in the distance. She felt dead and alive at the same time. Maybe whatever she was injected with was more intense then she thought. She could feel her skin contorting ever so slightly, even while it had been sliced into and partially flayed. She would have to bandage herself when she had a chance. Right now, it was all about getting away from the chaos. She would have to figure out her next move from here, this was the benefit of working alone. She could find a little joy in that. She could make her own mark.

After about fifteen minutes, she finally decided that she was far enough from all the calamity. She shook her head and took a seat on a rock, only to have to rock sink in a little bit. She stood up to find find that it was not a rock, but a box with a cloth on it. It looked tattered, but salvageable. The temperature in the arena seemed to be dipping, and maybe she could repurpose it as something to help her cover up just a little bit. She looked down at the box and found a flask of corked red liquid, an old book of scriptures, and a clove of garlic. The garlic made her nose twitch a little bit, but she shrugged and grabbed all the items and put it in her bag. Maybe she could make use of it down the line.

She stood up and started to survey the area, as she walked around the trees, she realized that everything seemed to be just a touch bit dilapidated for her own taste. She could figure that this was probably some arena with scary shit in it. Elle didnt care, she wasnt afraid of much physically. To say that she was fearless was definitely a stretch, but she would believe that for herself. Her confidence knew cockiness like it was her best friend. Made Elle out to be more scary and insufferable then she wanted to believe herself.

She looked up to see a balloon falling towards her, and then she realized that it was beeping as well. She quickly jumped to grab it, knowing well it would stop the moment it was not in motion. When she opened it, she found a holy cross and some gold rings to which she didnt quite understand, but nevertheless, she thought they were cute. She threw the cross in her bag and placed the rings on her fingers. When she lifted her arm to look at them in the air, she realized that maybe she needed to work on getting somewhere safer. Her wounds hurt, which meant that she needed to keep moving. She saw a light in the distance, and walked towards it. Once she noticed it was torch, she nearly ripped it out of the tree it was resting in, the wood splinters going everywhere.

She then proceeded to look forward and notice that there was a good amount of path she needed to travel.

She needed to keep going.
