she has decided that being around the tributes that she had run into earlier wasnt going to work for her. a lot of things were starting to make sense in her head as to what was going on now. tributes were dying left and right, and the ones that were smart enough, or strong enough, were starting to use the numbers tactics to get by until the numbers dwindled to something a little more manageable.

elle didnt really want to buy into this, because quite frankly, she was starting to get annoyed by the different personalities that she was running into. no one was really understanding that elle preferred silence for at least half the day. time for her to think and put puzzles together as she made her plan to survive and get the fuck out of this arena. the pair from five, and the boy from ten made it hard for her to even think her own thoughts, and that was just a sign that they would not be good company.

elle was enjoying herself too much.

she stood up after sharing words with the other group and wished them all luck. she put her two fingers in a v formation like the other preppy girls would do back in four and grabbed her bag and left. she let the moonlight guide her to another path in the den. she shook her head at the waste and litter that had been present. the gms could have at least made this place a little more tidy. she licked her lips for a moment, the water quenching her thirst and her stomach feeling a little uncomfortable, but she could manage.

she had walking for a couple minutes before she heard something in the distance. elle didnt even bother to raise her axe at this point, because she figured it was probably getting too late to fight. the idea was ludicrous. elle was just going to roll with it. she took a step into the opening and looked forward to see two tributes, silently sitting there, probably up to no good. when the moonlight hit one of their faces though, elle noticed that it had been one of the ones they were following from earlier.

elle though remembered there being three of them, not two. the eight and the two were accounted for, but the seven? where was the seven?

elle remembered the cannon from earlier.

she stepped forward, but she watched one of them shoot up a little bit. whatever they were injected with before they got into the arena really did heighten all of their senses. elle still could barely stomach the garlic clove that was in her bag, but she would keep it as long as she needed too. she didnt even flinch when eight had raised their claws. she liked her own chances.

"just long enough." elle said, the axe resting at her side. "sorry for your loss." elle had never been the type to just casually wish something like that, however, living with careers from four, elle had been taught how to read a room. even if she didnt meant it, she could at least offer some sort of climate decorum to get her by. "its late, and this den is too confusing." elle stated, sticking the axe into the ground. "you guys did make it hard for me to keep up though." elle wanted to make sure that it was clear that she had been following them since yesterday.

she might be a vampire right now, but she was a career first, and making sure people knew what they were up against was a cardinal virtue.

it was always up to the other to figure out what to do with that information.
