You were shaking from what had just happened. Scared. Terrified, even. It was a horrendous scene, and you were just grateful you didn't have to see that boy devour Finnagan.

Finnagan. The guy didn't deserve what happened to him. You wished you could've done something. It was like what happened with Navi all over again, except you had to see almost every gory detail of it, and not just the aftermath.

When you got away from where the short-lived fight took place, you tried your best to hide where the wouldn't see you. Then, you started digging through your bag. There had to be some way to make it so you didn't end up like that boy who had such a hunger. You were likely only hours behind him in getting to that point. You knew that there was something you could do to stop it. There had to be.

Then you thought of that little syringe in your bag. Could that be the fix?

Taking it out of your bag, you slipped the needle under the skin of your arm, and pushed down the plunger.

You felt something strange, but were unsure if it had worked.

Now, you just had to pray that this vampiric state subsided.
