Vallen finds building robots fun. Sometimes all it takes is gathering random items from other people's junk and putting them together. Of course, they never turn out perfect, but it's still something that passes time. Most importantly, it always gives him room to improve as he competes competitively. Losing is rarely an option, yet when someone defeats him, Vallen bows his head and congratulates the winner while muttering obscenities under his breath vowing to never lose again.

It's during moments like this that his family tries to bring him out of his room to enjoy life with them, and every now and then he'll sit at the table and enjoy a meal with them. Shortly after he retreats to his private space.

He's definitely a loner, but Vallen wouldn't have it any other way. He lives his life the way he wants to and refuses to let anyone tell him to live his life any differently.
