i am holding onto way too much for myself to handle.

i have never been the guy to fully commit to something. my parents tell me it is because i am scared of what is to come after i complete something, but i dont agree. i know what to expect, and to be quite honest, it probably would do me less harm then good. however, where is the fun in that.

i am okay with people thinking that i cannot keep up with the most basic of tasks. i was told in school multiple times that i am better then what i present to others, and the teachers are right. countless times, i have been told that i know the answers to whatever they are showing us, but i do not say a thing. i let the other kids take all the glory, because at the end of the day, the spotlight is not where i want to be.

i would rather stay in the shadows, where the quiet is just so much more inviting then heading directly into the sun.
