Ratmas 2022 - Ad Event!

It’s time to play….FAMILY FEUD! You heard that right! This year, the advertisers will be hosting a good ‘ol fun game of Family Feud with your hosts kari and ryan (with permission from Steve Harvey of course)! On January 4th, please join us for a night of fun, laughter, and of course, house points.

Now those of you who have never seen Family Feud (kaitlin im looking at you) are probably wondering now how the heck do I play this game? Well, good thing I am here to tell you! First thing’s first, we will be surveying the ENTIRE site (yes you will get house points) with some pretty basic, but fun questions (it will be easy I promise).

This survey can be found HERE! Please fill it out regardless if you plan to play/can’t be here. The more answers to the survey, the more fun the game! Please answer these questions with your FIRST instinct/gut reaction. No researching, etc. Trust us, it will be more fun.

Once we have collected our data, the fun begins! Each of the three houses will be a team and the game will consist of four rounds. At the beginning of the round, a question/statement will be read, then it is the responsibility of the team leader to ‘buzz in’ and give their guess. You have approximately 10 seconds to answer once buzzing in. If you choose the number one answer (the most answered question on the survey) you have the choice to pass or play that category! If you choose anything but number one, the other two teams will have the opportunity to guess to beat your answer. FOR EXAMPLE:

Question: Name a food you might order at brunch

Team Staff buzzes in first and says: pancakes!

It is revealed that is the number THREE answer, so the remaining two teams are allowed to buzz in again.

Team Sword is next and guesses: eggs! It is revealed that is the number one answer on the board. Now team sword has the opportunity to pass or play.

If you choose to play, your team will be the only ones allowed to answer. We will go down the line in a designated order (chosen before play begins) and each one of you will guess. The question will be read again and then you have approximately 10 seconds to guess. This will go down the line until either all items from the board are said OR three Xs are obtained. How do you get an X you may ask? Answer with something that is not on the board or take too long of course!

Now, if you get three Xs, the other two teams have a chance to steal! And take all the points earned for that round! Let’s continue with our example from above.

Team Sword is able to name waffles and bagels before getting three Xs. Team Shield then buzzes in and has one chance. They say mimosas, which appears on the board! They get ALL the points including what was on the board for a whopping 95 points!!

If they did not guess anything on the board, Team Sword would receive the points that were on the board!

After four rounds, the team with the most points wins and has an opportunity to play FASTTTT MONEY!

What’s Fast Money? Well, it is the same exact concept, except it is, well, fast. The winning team will choose 2 people to represent them where they will have a very short amount of time to answer 5 questions. The first person to go will be in DMs, because we don’t want the 2nd person to see their answers since that would be no fun! After the first person goes, their score will be revealed and the second person will answer in the group chat! They will have slightly more time, since they will not be allowed to repeat any of the first group of answers.

If the two members total 200 points, you will…..$20,000!!!!! Just kidding, but you will receive an extra special additional prize!

Yes, it will be repeated when we play.

Now what are these prizes you ask? Well, each member will receive 5 points for participating, yay! 3rd place will receive 10 points for their house, 2nd 15 points, and 1st place 20 points. If Fast Money is won, EACH person from the participating team will receive a CB! YAY!
