Target practice has a longer appointment in Trace’s schedule than economics but still the bullets ricochet off the wrong targets while Trace has already written and re-written her imaginary mayoral manifesto. Her inspiration being Mayor Shiv Irvine, who she always begs to be in the same room as whenever the mayor is calling to the family for something formal. It is the determination and the family legacy that pushes her to keep on practicing, she has only been holding a gun for five years now, but her siblings excelled quicker than she did. Anything bigger than a pistol is out of bounds. She once tried a shotgun and very nearly swapped her eyeball for a neat eye patch.

Now that would have been a cool look to carry but her mother was horrified with just the bruise it left on her cheek. She has not been allowed anywhere near the bigger guns since.

Though she does not see the appeal, the toys just fire tiny pieces of metal. Unless it is something automatic, the damage just isn’t it. Physics and chemistry are number two on her favorite subject list, after economics. Throwing together chemicals and causing a big BOOM now that is way cooler than a lame gun that is ever so technical to load.

Trace definitely takes advantage of her family’s success, even playing the little sister/youngest daughter card with everyone around her so that she can get her own way. Just one plea with her big brown eyes and her irritating high-pitched words and whatever she wants or whatever she doesn’t want to do is easily delivered. It is why her room is the brightest and her wardrobe is the fullest. Even the dog and the cat she begged to keep after finding them wandering the streets have their own wardrobes just as full…
