Howdy! This directory is for all the locations we as writers have added to the universe of Panem that could be handy references for others. These locations could range anywhere from schools, restaurants, theaters, etc. When writing the description, think about the purpose of the building, why it was built and what it's physical attributes are. Please only add locations that are accessible to the public - sure, your megamansion in 7 exists but who wants uninvited guests? If you destroy, gate off or otherwise make a location inaccessible, post here as well to get it removed from the list.

Archytas Institute of Technology:
A research intensive university focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Much of its research is funded by the government and large corporations, tending to its healthy endowment and industrial ties in the Capitol. It's made up of the School of Engineering, School of Science, School of Business Management, School of Architecture, and the School of Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences. The urban campus sprawls through the city with several main buildings centered around Archytas Park, an area also known as The Philosopher's Walk, in the city circle. [ lucius branwen / 10 — fox ]
Fenwick Entertainment:
A film studio located in Saturn City, Fen Ent is a massive skyscraper that can be seen from most corners of the Capitol. Painted with reflective gold, it shines like a beacon and has been used by many over the years as a waypoint to guide themselves around the city. The building is reinforced with steel and concrete and holds film studios on every floor. At the very top is the offices for the administration. If you're filming anything hollywood, the news, documentaries, you'll want to do it here. [ gamemaker kelsier ]
Heaven's Gate:
Malachi opened a second bar after a few years of success at his original bar. This one is the opposite energy of The Last Drop, giving a more holy and angelic feel. With whites and gold and silver, this bar tends to favor audiences enjoying light over darkness. He is currently hiring a new set of queens to perform at this bar, along with a new manager, who knows how the change in leadership will affect his newest establishment. [ thompson harvard - d2b - arc ]
The Last Drop:
Inspired by vampires, The Last Drop is a spooky-ooky goth-themed bar with drinks that match the vibe. Decorated to the brim with cobwebs, occasional fog, blood, coffins and more, this bar is sure to get your skin crawling. Owned by Malachi Wilde, various auctions and drag shows are often held at this location, frequently hosted by the man himself. With your favorite greased bar foods and several backstage dressing rooms, don't question if the floor gets sticky from time to time. [ thompson harvard - d2b - arc ]
Method & Irony:
Two sister clubs located in the Neon District. Method is in the basement of a grand building built years and years ago. It's set up similar to a prohibition jazz club with the bar near the back, tiered dinner table/booth seating and a stage at the very bottom. It's known as a popular spot for burlesque. Irony is more modern in appearance and has six levels, all looking down on the main floor. While Method is known for it's risqué performances, Irony is known for it's day's long parties. Both clubs are co-owned by Socrates and Copernicus Fenwick, who funds both locations [ gamemaker kelsier ]
Quartz Mutt Emporium:
All creatures, great and small, can be found here in various exhibitions. This huge Emporium is home to wildlife muttations throughout the decades of the Hunger Games, with wings dedicated to the brilliant minds of those such as Hades Lachlan, Reginald Quartz and Saber Bancroft. Bring your kids to feed the Blisserwelps and pet the Pitfall Lizards today! [ @fabulousraven ]
Refuge:
Refuge is a hidden bar, a speak easy, located on Style street specifically created for the Capitol's elite to go for a drink without being bothered. Opened 80+ years ago by Atticus Fenwick, the bar currently sees anyone from victors and gamemakers, to Panem's most elite politicians. It's unspoken that you don't speak of it, as that would destroy the point of refuge. The rumours of what has happened to those in the past is enough to keep things hush hush anyway. [ gamemaker kelsier ]
The Washington Museum of Treason:
Nestled in the City Center of the Capitol, the Washington Museum of Treason was established in the 89th and has ever expanded since. This Museum showcases artifacts that belonged to tributes, rebels and Capitolites alike, everything from tribute tokens to war relics. Please, don't touch the glass. [ @fabulousraven ]DISTRICT 1
Chivalry:
A club & bar owned by ex-Mayor Leia Chevallier, with a private speakeasy in the basement for Miss Chevallier’s closest friends and associates to speak freely about ‘business transactions’. Residents from all walks of life are welcomed to Chivalry, but it’s an unspoken rule to expect the unexpected when you walk through the unassuming entrance doors. If you’re not looking for trouble, best not to venture downstairs. But do stay for the complimentary first drink and classic retro-era entertainment including jazz music and burlesque shows. [ ✨ zozo. ]
Flair Winery and Vineyard:

Xena Dance and Gymnastics Studio:
Opened by Luanna Xena (played by Kaplan) shortly after the 80th Hunger Games, this dance and gymnastics studio has several instructors who specialize in teaching children these particular movement/performing arts. There are, however, also instructors for adults, albeit less of them, who will gladly teach people of any age. Founder Luanna Xena (Kap) teaches classes of all age levels for both dance and gymnastics, alongside other instructors. [ kap ]DISTRICT 2DISTRICT 3
Little Innovators:
Childcare and early-learning centre for ages 0-4, currently run by Klaus Goravich’s sister Lyanna and her daughter Lena. Tactile, hands-based learning for Panem’s youngest minds, teaching STEM and art classes amongst the basics of numeracy, literacy. Creativity and discovery is the foundation of Little Innovators. After school programmes are also hosted here for older children. Located below some apartments in the housing areas of Three. [ ✨ zozo. ]
Love Canal:
Love Canal was an industrial dumping site outside of District Three up until the forties. As the population surged and a housing crisis unfolded, they paved it over, rolled out lawns, and built cheap housing on the land. It was super contaminated by all the chemicals from decades of production waste and a huge health hazard, which caused it to be abandoned by the sixties. Not yet converted back to a dumping ground, in the interim, some residents, however, still choose to live there. [ lucius branwen / 10 — fox ]DISTRICT 4
Leto P.I. & Associates:
Calypso Leto’s private investigation firm. If you need a crime solved that’s too petty or corrupt for Keepers to get involved, Leto’s your girl. Graduate of the Peacekeeper Training Academy, Leto was made famous for single-handedly exposing, and causing the ultimate downfall of, Hailsham Academy after Beck Hailsham’s victory in the 84th Games. [ ✨ zozo. ]
Octoburger:
The local teenage food spot, Octoburger Diner ironically doesn’t serve seafood. Instead they offer a variety of burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes, soda, and fries, making it an ideal spot to eat for those sick of the same old tuna bake Mom makes or the unfortunate few citizens of Four with a seafood allergy. [ umber vivuus 12b 🥀 [dars] ]
Peacekeeper Training Academy:
The official pathway for District Four’s most loyal students interested in a lifelong career of keeping the peace in Panem. The Academy offers a Career-standard training course in physical combat, an excellent general education, as well as specialist classes such as gun-handling, criminology, ethics and history of law. Graduates are offered accelerated pathways into law-enforcement, with notable alumni including Mateus Marshall, Calypso Leto & Brentley Gray. [ ✨ zozo. & umber vivuus 12b 🥀 [dars] ]
Styx:
Styx has been around for a long while now, it can be found near the shoreline in Four, down a set of stairs tucked into the walkway along a canal. It's a spot meant not for the most savoury people in Four but is still a favourite drinking spot for most citizens. It's owned by Bastille, a notable figure in District Four's underbelly. While the bar boasts nothing special, it's an excellent place to go if you're looking for some underhanded work. Set into the lower floors of an old shipyard building, there are catacombs that run behind the bar into the unknown for a quick exit. Everything is velvet and beautiful, kept in tip top shape despite the salt water air that makes it down the steps. [ gamemaker kelsier ]
Thalia Theater:
A performing arts theater specializing in musicals, plays and dance, Thalia Theater is named after Thalia Thame (deceased, NPC), the founder of the theater. Presently, there are three instructors at the theater: one for each of the theater's specialties. Niles McCarthy (played by Kaplan) is the dance instructor, Mikail Regg (NPC) is the drama director for plays that are produced in the theater, and Yazmin Leoni (NPC) directs and choreographs the musicals. [ kap ]DISTRICT 5
Mercier Clinic:
A low income walk-in clinic owned by the Mercier Family - famous pacifists descended from Devon Mercier of the 1st Hunger Games. The clinic has been around since the Dark Days and first began as a livestock and large-animal vet, but then expanded into human clientele once the war broke out, serving civilians and soldiers regardless of what side they were on. After District 5 mayor and clinic owner Dr. Alaric Mercier died from Rose Plague in the year of the 92nd, the clinic was passed on to his wife and children. [ tick 12a / calla ]
Sinclair Florist:
One of the most popular florists in District Five, this rather sizeable shop is often quite busy. The employees of the shop do fine work in arranging bouquets and other flower-related things for clients, and helping them find exactly what they need. The owner, Lady Sasha Sinclair (NPC), is often absent from the shop, but comes in to assist during the busier times of the year, such as around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. [ kap ]DISTRICT 6
Blessing Fenwick Hospital of Mercy:

Operated by Noah Blow. [ Baby Wessex d9b [earthling] ]DISTRICT 7
JJ's:

The Woodshop:
Not, in fact, a woodshop, but a local bar! Located in the Town Square with gruff and worn yet cozy log cabin vibes. Serving craft beers, whiskey & scotch, and whatever else they’ve got lying around the back of the bar, come in for a drink and stay for the crackling fireplace. Current staff include Bar Manager: Maxine Pryce. [ ✨ zozo. ]DISTRICT 8
Bella Noches:
Home to all beautiful creatures of the night, this club began as a refurbished abandoned factory on the West side of District 8. Opened by none other than Aurora LeBeaux Gaultier in the late 70's, rumor has it 8's luxury all began here, by those who sought out true glamour. Queerness of all kinds can be found here, as well as many notable fashion Hauses, all competiting for that limelight on stage. The dolls get free drinks on tuesdays. [ @fabulousraven ]
Flowers for Hope:
Preston Hope is all grown up now. Sitting on the street corner, his flower shop has been his fixation for months. Not as busy during the winter, this store offers those in love and mourning the chance to purchase a small bouquet in their name. When he's there, it's bound that one of his four children will be propped up on the counter, answering questions or buzzing about the day. For someone who used to burn down buildings, he's happy to put his energy elsewhere. [ thompson harvard - d2b - arc ]DISTRICT 9DISTRICT 10
Fontaine Orchards:
Arguably the largest and most profitable orchard in the District, Fontaine’s sits on sprawling green fields and grows produce fit for District One and Capitol standards, plus the odd species that takes better to Ten’s hotter climate versus Eleven’s. Grapevines, Olive Trees, Peaches and Pears are just some of the delicacies grown, harvested and bottled into luxury foodstuffs. [ ✨ zozo. ]
Paws for Pals:
A big, concrete building doesn't seem too inviting for many faces. Luckily, for these staff members, an inviting coralle of dogs presents itself inside. From big dogs to tiny dogs, old dogs to young, Paws for Pals is a shelter for dogs that have lost their way from home. They are always accepting volunteers for walks, and will happily provide a needing family with the furry friend of their dreams. The cold concrete floor seems cruel, but the shelter is worth it in the end. [ thompson harvard - d2b - arc ]DISTRICT 11
Sachdeva Orchard:
A small orchard and fruitstand that occassionally sells bottles of moonshine under the table. Open 3 days a week, daylight hours. Closed in the winter. Maintained by the Sachdeva family, primarily Darsh Sachdeva. [ Baby Wessex d9b [earthling] ]DISTRICT 12
Monaghan's:
One of the longest-standing up-market shops in Twelve, selling everything not entirely necessary for survival but helpful nonetheless. From cutlery and tablecloths to tiny bottles of perfume, hair-ribbons and soaps to photo-frames and plain jewellery, if it’s pretty and luxurious for Twelve it’s sold here. Much like Serendipity, Monaghans runs an entire contraband business under the guise of the shop, offering necessary medicines and contrabands such as drugs and alcohol. Was run by Juliet Monaghan until her death in the 84th. Now run by her little sister Sidonie under the watchful eye of the Mayor’s right-hand woman, Marissa Monaghan, and Jules’ twin brother Jamie. [ ✨ zozo. ]
Mortuus Health Center:
Established during the Dark Days by Capitolist loyalists, the Mortuus Health Center began as a beacon of hope for the dying and sick of District 12. If it were an honest establishment, the front door would read "come here to die." The mortality rate has only worsened over the decades, but with so little affordable health care, where else will help you? Just pray that kidney infection doesn't worsen over night. [ @fabulousraven ]
The Pickaxe:
District Twelve’s resident shit-hole bar, where gruff Peacekeepers and drunk uncles alike come to waste away in the dingiest part of Twelve. Open from 9pm - late, Pickaxe operates as a smuggling house for Monaghan's alcohol runs. Upon entering your instincts tell you this is a dodgy place, and you’re not wrong - shifty deals and bar-fights are just as regular as the locals. The bar was previously manned by Juliet Monaghan until her death in the 84th. Subsequently there’s a HELP WANTED sign hanging in the window. [ ✨ zozo. ]OTHER
