- his name wasn't orion. not at first, at least.

- thomas didn't want that type of life for himself. he had an eye for the shinier, precious things - a string of pearls around his neck, decked out in silk garments and diamond rings. he was a jewel through and through.
- rejecting the menial life he had been brought up in, he redesigned himself. tore away the skin and name of his family and became orion.
- a man of worth, a man of standing. life was better that way - being looked at like someone, a person, and not lost in a sea of faceless and mindless workers, spending your entire life serving others' gains.
