I must say, your District made quite the splash at the Tribute Parade. Tell us what you were feeling up there! Confident, nervous, excited?

currently? im feeling like i am ready to take on the world. ive been watching what the other tributes can do, and i feel like i have learned a lot here in the short time i have been here. to be quite honest, i dont think any of them are truly ready for me when i get into that arena. im not like most girls dont you know? i am ready to do what it takes to make it out alive, and i dont think anyone else here is ready to do that. plus, its about time a lady forrester shows exactly what needs to be done.

How confident do you feel about the games now that you've seen your Training Score?

deliciously delightful. i showed the gms exactly what i am capable of, and from what i can tell, they seemed to be just as horrified as they were impressed. that was the the whole point of what i did. just to make sure that jaws dropped.

What about the other tributes? Intimidating? Interesting? Irritating?

none of them are irritating, yet. intimidating? i am not sure i can even speak to that. i think given whatever the circumstances might be, that will influence how i feel about each tribute. some of them have already showed me that they are just as stubborn as myself, and i think that is what i find the most interesting. after all, there is only one of me. i dont think the capitol would be ready for another.

What has impressed you most about the Capitol since you've been here?

you guys seem to pray to things that i never seen before. i do a lot of pray back home myself, but it seems like anything that is put in front of a capitol citizen can be deemed holy? i am not one to judge, but it is a little off putting dont you think? having so many idols and higher powers can really make someone lose themselves you know?

Tell us what a typical day in your shoes is like back home. Do you work? Do you have any hobbies or secret talents?

im into witchy shit. i pray, i worship the moon, i hunt with my father and i cook with my mother. i live a simple life, and i was destined for greater things. i didnt think the hunger games would be a part of those greater things, but i am here and ready to show panem that i am the one to watch out for. ive been speaking to the moon every night, and each time i earn its blessing.

What about romance? Cute as you are, I bet there is someone back home waiting, right?

god know. a man? -makes gagging face- no thanks. i am only thinking about myself while i am in this arena. there is no point in trying lie to you guys. i am not here to show you guys that love trumps all. in fact, i think the opposite. i think love blinds us, and that if you bring that into the arena, you are sure to die early. i mean, look at the boy from six. yikes.

And your family. Sensitive subject, I'm sure, but... could you tell us about them?

they did not understand why i volunteered at first, seeing as i was already chosen to become a leader in our family, but once we had a conversation about it, they realized that i needed to do this. this is just one more thing in the grand scheme of things, and they support me no matter what. in this life or the next.

I want to know: What is it that you'll be fighting for in that arena? What is it you want to get back home to?

the only thing that i am fighting for is a chance to show everyone that the forresters are stronger then youve seen. vargen? he was pretty cool, but the last two forresters to walk into the arena havent really put out the true capacity of someone from our family. besides, a it was about time a woman forrester showed everyone what it takes to finish a job that they send silly men to do.
