Look, she couldn't resist a good make over.
It was what she was looking forward to most coming here; one of few things, at that. Admittedly, she did find herself enjoying the other tributes - there were some strange ones that she made sure to stay clear of, such as the volunteer from 8 and the legacy boy from 1 - but they were overshadowed by the ones she did like. Itzal came to mind for reasons she cared not to confess, and busied herself with the thought of glitter and rhinestones. Where ever that boy went, butterflies surely followed.
She was starting to think she should stay clear of him too!
Even in District 11 the women found ways to be beautiful, her mother knew a woman who would make her own eyeshadows from fish scales. It was a dreamy iridescent and Haizea had only gotten to use it once: for her quinceanera. Almost pain stricken when she thinks of it, not even a year ago. Her mother always knew how to maximize beauty, and she imagined her stylist would the same.
In fact, she was aching to be impressed. Consider her a connoisseur, Marsha Mellow is a name of legends in District 11 so she almost expected the best. It felt like a dying wish, if she was going out she at least better look great doing it. "I know you!" She announces as Marsha enters the room, larger than life. Haizea was impressed with herself for knowing her Capitolite references, she'd had seen her on television and fashion magazines.
"No pressure, but I have high, high hopes," she says with a vivacious grin.
