svet had put most of her survival skills on the back burner because they were not what she needed to work on. to be quite honest, the combat stations were not as difficult as some of the kids were making it seem. it was anything that had to do with being gentle that svet was not that good at. she had learned how to do a lot of different things, but right her focus was perfecting what she was good at. she would start out swinging of course.
however, she had realized that every other station was starting to fill up. it was like all of the tributes had the same thought that she did when she had gotten down here for the day. she shook her head, realizing that the fire making station was probably the only station that didnt have more then three tributes attempting it. her fire making skills were decent, seeing as she was used to living off the earth.
she looked around to see her district partner sitting amongst the wood. maybe she was trying to hide from everyone else. svet thought maybe she should have moved onto something else, but maybe this was a chance to finally chat with her since the train. she was young, she knew that much, and that she took her spot at the reaping with very little resistance. the aura that francine had given off was odd, even sitting across from her in the train station, svet couldnt help but think that.
she could honestly dig it.
she sat across from francine and grabbed the flint that had been sitting in front of their firemaking station. "wanna tell scary ghost stories?" svet offered to the girl as she struck the two rocks against each other, sparks flying. she did it one more time, and as she did, she watched as the lights in the training center had completely went out.
darkness for a moment, but then a fire had erupted and she could see francine's face with no issues.
"perfect..." she grinned as the lights turned back on.
