But everyone else knew what it truly was—shy glances, effervescent desire like from a seething champagne bottle, and of course, deep purple jealousy that rotted quick. Nonetheless, it was a sigh of relief to have the legal jargon there as a pleasantry instead of confessing it all aloud. After all, he had sworn to stop courting scandal for at least a month.

Still, there was a gap in the shape of a star left behind after Ulysses’ departure, and a memorable picture needed a star the way a body needed a heart. Not one that would burn out as swiftly as they shone, comet to a wisp, but rather a raw talent, a diamond in the rough. Pictures and acting went hand in hand, and he needed someone- or even a group of people- who revered both.

Hence the casting call, actors and actresses wanted for B-23’s latest projects!

Unlike ZeusTV, this is a studio that promises grit over glam, because in B-23 the stories have their own folk tales to tell and those arthouse castaways deemed ‘overtly avant grade’ are offered a home. It is a hymn that harkens back to what cinema has always been: storytelling and all of its whimsies, both of which is championed here.

Hello! Welcome to the B23 plot! This is less an activity-focused plot, more a lore-based organization that revolves around the new independent films production company in the heart of District One. Nickel and diming his family's fortune, Benito founded this small, alternative studio as a way of championing what are essentially 'indie films' in the Hunger Games universe, so picture one of those films that people use words like 'prestige' and 'refined' to describe. 

Characters will consist of actors, supporting actors, stuntmen, directors, producers and scriptwriters. Ever wanted to write a starlet renowned for her mystique and age-old charm, or a tortured writer whose scripts no one can truly understand? This is your chance. 

The application process is simple: briefly describe your character! They can be unwritten ones, or characters that already have a bio, but they must be citizens of District One, at least for now.
