Anthem - Day 4

“Are you two happy now?” Chanel asks.

"Ecstatic," chimes Sloane. She seems quite satisfied with herself.

"Yes!" Ruby's voice shows her excitement. "This is getting fun."

There's an apparent aura of annoyance coming from Chanel as the other two Gamemakers express their satisfaction with the previous day's happenings.

"Ah, finally! Good old classic bloodshed. I think it's time we do it again," adds Sloane. Chanel throws her hands up and strides away from the other two Gamemakers, while Ruby Racnoss gains a look of confusion.

Sloane, in charge of directing the most important of the Games happenings, began to prepare for the next day's needs once Chanel had departed from the room, Ruby following close behind with a wave of assistance.

For the tributes in the arena, the faces of the fallen appear in the sky.

The storm seems to be fading more as the days progress, but it still lingered in the night just enough to be considered a nuisance. Wind still lightly shook tree branches and caused the rice fields to sway. There was still rain, and tributes with protection from the weather would certainly be grateful to have such things. By the morning, however, it seems to have cleared. The skies appear much more normal now, returning to a typical color. Fog has faded and there are no longer cracks of thunder in the distance. It's almost peaceful.

ALL TRIBUTES SUFFER +5 STORM SURGE DAMAGE.
Tributes in possession of an umbrella [-2] and/or rubber soled boots [-3] suffer less weather damage as they are protected by their materials. These items may stack. If you didn't think to collect an umbrella for protection... now you know. That storm means business.

During the night, the storm is still underway, but it lightens and seems to fade come the morning. The fog has lifted and the strange lightning flashes from before are no longer seen across the sky. It's still a bit humid, but not as bad as before. Things seem to be lightening up, but will it stay this way?
