letters to... [thompson/isaiah]

Hey, Thompson! It's really nice to meet you. I'm Isaiah. I'm from One, as you can also tell by the address, I guess. District Two really got a downgrade there, huh? I'm sorry that it sucks! Hopefully, you don't get affected by it too much. District Two deserves a lot better though. You all shouldn't be punished for the tributes. They don't totally represent your district.

Well, they kind of do.

But you shouldn't be punished for them doing bad. It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

We got the better end, luckily for me. Even though we had a very underground film industry working, now that it's a part of our industry, my dad's taken to it. He wants to become this mega film star or something. It's kind of cool that he gets to embrace it on a larger scale, but he's sometimes so work-focused that it's hard to spend much time with him. He says the work will pay off, but he's been working like this for four years. Maybe he hopes that he'll take off with the change of industries. I don't know, though.

Enough about him! I also like theatre, which kind of comes from him, but I'm not sure I want to follow his tracks. Maybe act some to say I've done it. But I don't expect to be on big screens, that's for sure. I don't do much of that career training stuff either. Never thought about it. But you don't know what you're missing out on until it's gone, right? I live with my dad and mom. I have two younger sisters, and they're totally both into the acting thing. It's safe to say they'll carry dad's legacy for me. It's pretty nice here. My mom used to work at some furniture store but now she works on designing sets for some of the tv shows being worked out. They'll all be mad at me if I don't do theatre. Which causes me to rethink not doing something in the field.

I think I'd like to do something with dancing. Choreography, which could fall under there, but not many musicals are super big-name. It would only be worth it if I make it big. But a guy can dream!

I attached some film camera stamps. We have way too much film based stuff around the house, so maybe it'll be useful to you! My dad has some really old productions burned onto CDs. If you don't have a DVD player over there it might be useless to have this, but I think it shows his dedication to the craft! There's also a picture of me. Just to see the face behind the writing!

I've never really done anything like this before. But it seems super cool.
