Nyx and Kazuki

Long, thick white hair threaded through with platinum, silver, and gold. Pale skin with purple vine-and-thorn tattoos curling down each arm. Violet eyes she had enlarged and imbedded with chips of diamond. Usually wears a lot of makeup and dresses that match the colors in her hair.

Sly and maniplutive, Nyx likes to make everyone fall in love with her before dumping them cold on the street. Lazy with a streak of cold determination, Nyx has a cynical side she hides with the fluttery playgirl attitude of the Capitol.

Grew up touring the Districs with her father, who was the Director of a few Peacekeeper groups. One day, when she was around fifteen, she saw a boy in District Twelve board the train and hide in a closet. She didn't tell anyone, but a few months later she found him an Avox in one of her friend's home. Her mother has recently died, and her father has spiraled into a depression that not even the bubbly non-stop fun of the Capitol can break.

Nyx means "white-haired" in Latin.

Blue-black hair that was cut very short when he was made an Avox. Dark blue eyes with a circle of grey around the iris. White skin that used to be tanned.

Hard-headed and loud (when he could talk), Kazuki is fiercely loyal once you earn his trust and is very protective of those he cares about. Has a softer side for his family, but is usually sarcastic and cold. Likes to play pranks. Servitude chafes him.

Lived in District Eleven until he was twelve years old, when the Peackeepers killed his entire family. Kazuki managed to escape into the wild and lived there alone for many years. He had to flew a Capitol hovercar and 19, however, and ended up in District Twelve. He managed to board the train there, but was sighted by a Capitol girl. She didn't say anything, but he was caught anyway when he tried to get off at District Three and was turned into an Avox.
