"Welcome back my beautiful little stardews," Sardonyx says before ever stepping foot on the stage. As she starts, the false background of the stage lifts and the floor pulls away, revealing that of the real stage and the monarch herself. Flowers hang over her head, a winding river spiraling between the plush lavender seats now all unveiled with the trigger of her siren like voice. Sardonyx takes a step forward towards the crowd, as hysteric as they always are in her presence, removing her sunglasses and flicking them into the audience before continuing. 

"It's always an honor to grace this stage, and tonight we have quite the delicious line up for you all here on.. The Roost!" God, how she missed saying that. This performance, a ritual almost to her over the decades, has become her entire life. The grand appearance her virtue, the applause her life's blood. "But I have just one question," she pauses, the trumpets billowing in the silence. 

"Can you handle it?" Sultry is the voice that delivers it.
