The Mahdavi Toy (and crime) Emporium + D1

~ prologue ~

Shortly after the Mahdavi twins, Luja and Kaiden, met their gruesome demise…their father also fell victim to his own fate. Thus, leaving their mother alone in district seven. With nothing left to keep her in the district riddled with sad memories, she fled in order to escape the sorrows that awaited her at home. For a few years she travelled in secret through the districts constantly on the run, supporting herself by selling her body. With the job came the hazard of children and she proceeded to give birth to the next wave of Mahdavi children all from different fathers.

Young children proved hard to keep while living the nomad lifestyle, ultimately leaving her not much choice but to settle down in the poorest neighborhood of district one where she found herself by chance. She vowed to her children as she once did to her late husband, to leave the life of crime and earn an honest living. As a dedication to her late daughter, Luja, she opened a children’s toy store. The beginning of the Mahdavi Toy Emporium.

The family’s matriarch was well versed in many forms of earning income, an honest route however was not one of them. History repeats itself and the Mahdavi family once again found themselves turning to crime in order to put food on the table.

~ Present Day ~

Almost three generations later, the Mahdavi family have found their place in district one. The small home-grown family crime business expanded into one of the biggest gangs of the district, all with a toy store front, with a booming clientele. Their members span from the Mahdavi bloodline, adoptees, and those without any familiar ties. The Mahdavi gang became a haven for those with insanity cursing through their veins and talent for the illegal. All members are easily identifiable by a tattoo of a sword stabbing through an eye, representing what is known as the tragedy of the twins. A symbol reminding every member that family is all they have and not to turn their backs on one another.

Everyone pulls their weight, there is no sitting out. Each one works at the toy store and each one aids in the behind-the-scenes criminal activity. There is job for every talent and if you are born into the family, there is no other choice. Leadership is passed down from mother to daughter as is the shared family trauma of the events that occurred around 85 years ago. The head of the family referred to as The Matriarch.

The next in line to become the Matriarch of the family, but Xaahira has no interest in the family business. She is a party girl through and through with herself being her best client. She is often found showing up late to her shifts in the store, still in yesterdays clothes.

This plot is open to anyone and any character. If you would like to have an existing character be a non familiar part of the gang, that is more than welcome! Keep in mind that this is only a subsection of what the happened to the Mahdavi's after the 8th games. There is a possibilty that some are still hanging out in D7 after all this time oblivious to what is going on in D1. Honestly, who knows! So yes join a gang, be gay, do crime and help write out this little chunk of Mahdavi family history.
