Second Alliance at the Canopy Forest

⇢ The SECOND alliance in the Canopy Forest is greeted by the forest with a rustling in the trees. Is it the wind? Is it something else?

All of you cannot tell as you creep along the wild underbrush, past rows of conifer trees with swaying branches and rustling leaves. You walk for what seems like a minute, five minutes, fifteen, twenty … How long have you been walking? And why has the path yet to change? Time feels slippery, and the forest around you is impossibly ancient.

You look around, panicked, and see the one change that had occurred in a part of your ally’s physical appearance. Are you hallucinating, or does that particular area look much older than the rest of their body?

The aging effect targets all members of the alliance. It is localized in a particular body part (e.g. a withered hand, a white streak in the hair) and is completely up to the writer’s decision.
