He was a bit at war with himself over what to do. He'd been given a keycard to the gamemaker's lounge but... did that mean he should go, or he shouldn't? He didn't exactly have the best luck with keycards (see: his last interaction with Arcadia,) but at the same time, if they took the time to send it to him then clearly there was something he was meant to find.
Still.
Even as he stood outside the doors, keycard in hand, Jack hesitated. He was learning a lot about himself in this arena and one thing that seemed already to be a recurring topic for him was his worry of overstepping boundaries. Clearly not enough to stop him, as he ultimately chose to swipe the card against the reader anyway, watching with careful eyes as the doors slid open to reveal... nothing.
An empty room.
There was a creepy red light to set the mood but there was no evidence of anyone else being there other than Jack and his shadow. Did that mean that the silhouettes of the gamemakers he'd seen at the start of the Games were real, or was it another trick of the madhouse they were locked inside?
"Hello?"
He stepped inside and the door slid shut behind him with finality. Still, no one and nothing made itself apparent. He stood there awkwardly for a bit, waiting for some cosmic sign of what he was supposed to do next, and nothing came. Eventually, boredom won on and he delved further into the room, taking a cursory glance of some of the stuff the gamemakers had conviniently left behind for them.
