Anthem - Day 4: Part Two

More entertainment than guaranteed death, the megamutts subside from the cameras and the suites as Geiger watches with amusement. There's a wave of nervousness in the room, of failed expectation, even though the tributes stand swaying in their own blood and seeping exhaustion in shades of red and black. He narrows his eyes, looks to Decadence and then back towards the screens at the front of the room. Year after year, tributes survived whatever the Gamemakers threw at them in droves, muttations and events alike, manufactured and created to kill yet doing anything but. In some ways, his admiration is almost earned.

They were resilient, at the very least. He liked that.

"We don't need to destroy them." He mutters, a confirmation to himself, before he moves towards the dashboard and types in names, one after another after another. "We let them destroy one another."

There's not enough time in the world to recover after the suites finally return to normal, mutts and terrors retreating back into the walls from which they came, disguised by advanced holograms and a trick of the eyes. Whether its bruises or blood or a mix of both that are scattered across the forms of within the suites, every tribute left standing has been left with a permanent reminder of what the Training Center has to offer, of how easily it can hurt, maim, kill.

Though, it pales in comparison to what their fellow tributes can do. That's why the screens scattered around the suites suddenly come to life just when tributes are beginning to catch their bearings again, find what lefts of their comfort, of themselves. Just like before, a timer starts, this time accompanied by two ominous groupings below it, each one given a destination to reach before the timer expires...

GENERAL INFORMATION.
○ Day 4: Part Two ends on Sunday, December 3rd.
○ Posting is mandatory for all tributes.
○ Optional: If a fight is moving slowly by midway through Day 3 (i.e., end of Wednesday), and if all tributes in the fight agree, tributes may start attacking twice per post at the beginning of the next round. Double-attacks must be made on the same tribute. Every tribute in the fight must let the GMs know they're okay with this arrangement; when every tribute has consented, GMs will let the fight know they can proceed with double-attacks.
