Never let them see you sweat.

His mentor had muttered the words to him once, laced with the leftover smoke of a cigarette pulled from between his lips, bouncing amongst the crackling flames. It was easy to hide it in the forests surrounding the districts, a twinge of nervousness or a flash of fear- covered up by the hunt of a wanderer, by a name and a number. Never let them see you sweat, the words bounce in the front of his mind now as he observes the fights of the remaining tributes, life on the line, reliant on death.

Little victories and little defeats, it's far too short of a time between Arcadia claiming the life of Roe and Sacrifice falling. Their cannon echoes across the walls of the Training Center, caught in every torn fabric and fixture remaining in suites that have long since gone silent in the wake of their tributes falling. Geiger pulls himself up from his chair in rigid composure, straying further away from the relaxed demeanor of the early days of the Games and into something much more focused, scanning, searching, hunting.

Arlo Monroe falls to Marik Shadow, and Geiger feels 12 scar itself into the weights on his shoulders. "Give me the legacies. Now." 

There's a shuffle to his right, a millisecond of a pause before the cameras return to Emerson and Nessa, writing their promises in blue and breaking them in red. It'd been the main draw of media sensation for the day, district versus district, crown versus crown, tearing themselves apart like animals. Geiger watches, stoic and intense, as the final tribute of the day falls. The cameras switch to the victor statues of Ten, Mace Emberstatt for a moment, then two, panning over to Saffron before it finally cuts once more. Back to the living, bloodied and bruised and so close to broken.

"Let them say their prayers, patch their wounds. Then cut them loose."

It's easy enough to know now that the arena around you is very much alive, that it will be the true last thing remaining no matter who is crowned the victor. It's why you know what it means when fixtures of each suite start to stir, when something intangible awakens and directs you to your next destination. A locked door, a blinking alarm light, the trace of blood lingering in the air, all so that you arrive at your next hurdle to jump over, your next blade to meet.

GENERAL INFORMATION.
○ Day 7 ends on Sunday, December 31st.
○ Posting is mandatory for all tributes.
○ The locations where these fights take place will be decided by the tribute with the highest initiative.
○ Optional: If a fight is moving slowly by midway through Day 6 (i.e., end of Wednesday), and if all tributes in the fight agree, tributes may start attacking twice per post at the beginning of the next round. Double-attacks must be made on the same tribute. Every tribute in the fight must let the GMs know they're okay with this arrangement; when every tribute has consented, GMs will let the fight know they can proceed with double-attacks.
