Fray Dwyer - D11 [cbd1] (finished)

Fray is only seventeen yet has little family left. He's very much at the end of his tether with his existence in District Eleven. He's not attempted any breakouts, yet, but his friends have. Or rather, those that used to be his friends. Being one of four Dwyers, Fray is the heart of the trio. His mother and two brothers are all that's left of a once-large family of farmers. Some passed to disease, some are imprisoned forever, but most just didn't make it through the Winters.

Forever the rebellious type, Fray is a loudmouth in the best way. He'll stick up for anybody if he can. He doesn't care about the consequences for himself, as Dwyers have learned to survive on their own. He still loves his family, but there are too many scars to bear. While close with his younger brothers, Barb (13) and Tire (15), Fray is the eldest and the wisest. He's lived through their experiences the most mature, and responsible. Having held onto a lot of his siblings' grief, he can't seem to bear much more, so he has shut himself off from them - he now only helps them, without saying very much or being too kind, as not to form their bond any stronger.

He has no set plans to escape the District, but it's his goal all the same. The everburning hatred within him fuelling him into action one day, but not quite yet. His brothers, and mother, share his views of Eleven. It's just all hope is lost. They can barely bear the idea of losing against the Capitol, so they don't even discuss it.
