While everybody is out in the water, Precipi despises it. There's no fear, just a horendous hatred of the smell of fish. Nothing about the disgust is unmerited. You'd think from living so close to the shore for eighteen whole years would mean that she'd have gotten used to it, but no.

So, she stays inside the training centres as much as possible. Being a fishmonger in her work time means she often wastes the rest of it showering away the aquarium scent, and when she isn't, she's washing away the hard-worked-for sweat from training to leave this ridiculous District. She loathes it, and she wants a holiday. Even if it means... Death.

Being a career-by-proxy, due to her detest for working in the District, she's found herself proficient in training for the Games. It seems like her only ticket out of the District, because outright escaping isn't an option - she'd have to swim through far too many fish for that. Besides. As much as she dislikes the locale of her parent's choosing when it came to deciding where to nest their small family of three, she loves them. It would be violently difficult to leave them behind without the hope of bringing them back a crown from the Hunger Games, and consequently, a free-pass to move from the stinky shore.
