Nemea, named after a lion of mythos, is as much of a safe haven and a premier learning institution as it is a herculean test, newly reopened to welcome promising young women from all around the district. Behind the white and gold walls of the chateau and past its sprawling gardens, lies a facility that was crafted to forge someone into not just any career but the perfect career, the winning career, the Le Roux career.

That is, of course, if they can keep up. The training here does not know your limits, or rather it sets its own, and its curriculum of steel has been reputed to be the one of if not the most rigorous throughout the district. There is no room for failure in Nemea, only excellence of the highest order.

Once accepting all students, the academy is now open exclusively for young women of ages fifteen and above, a change proposed by Eurydice herself. There is little to no explanation surrounding the grand amendment, but some could conclude that it has some ties to the four portraits hung in gilt at each compass-point endings of the academy, illustrating four lionesses: Ridley, Silk, Emerson, and Larissa.

The student body is diverse. From scions and heiresses with double-barreled last names to orphans and urchins given the offer for attendance, Nemea welcomes all of those who wishes to prove themselves worthy of the crown, of having lion blood in their veins. It teaches you how to hold your head high, how to command fear, and above all else, how to be the queens of jungles.

There are some whispers in corners and alleyways, a scattering of hearsay about how some girls had been taken from underground fight rings for enrollment and the academy’s unspoken partnership with a crime syndicate led by a linchpin figure called ‘Shadowcat’, but it is best to not trust such baseless rumors.

Nemea, at the end of the day, is committed only to its singular mission: to forge the young women of the district into righteous, shiny weapons of gold they are all destined to be.

Hello, folks! I'd like to welcome you all to the girls-only training academy/boarding school plot. It was an idea sparked by something Calla said in Le Roux chat, so partial credit to the queen. 


tldr; 

- Nemea is a girls-only career academy located in the upper ring of District One, funded by Eurydice Le Roux in hopes of acquiring more victors.

- It accepts all female-presenting students from ages fifteen and above.

- The school grounds are large, but the campus itself is even grander: a chateau with several towers, full of classrooms and dormitories, gardens and fields.

- Your material status does not matter for acceptance. Nemea is looking for the most ferocious ones. However, this does not mean some students won't look down upon the less unfortunate. 

- There are rumors that some girls here were taken from underground fighting rings, but who can attest to it? Who would attest to that? After all, they know that whatever life they had been given is much sweeter than the life they had before.
